Nano Brows by Mandi
$700
This includes one touch up session, 8+ weeks later, to refine shape and color. The service is very similar to that of a tattooing service.
In the future, there is always maintenance needed, typically on a 12-24 month basis to keep them looking their best. Those follow ups, we call them color boost sessions, start at $200+. Once you’re a client of Pretty in Ink, those color boost sessions can be obtained for free with referrals!
During your appointment, a custom shape will be drawn and the best color pigment will be assessed for your eyebrows. You are part of the process every step of the way. Mandi normally get requests for the “hair stroke technique” that simulates the look of real hair, but powder and ombré brows are also achievable.
On the day of your appointment, the consultation and the drawing on of your eyebrows takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The actual application takes, on average, an hour to an hour and a half. So in all, there will be 3 hours scheduled per initial appointment. Your touch-up appointment will take about an hour depending on the pigment retention from the first appointment.
The aftercare is very minimal. There is very little redness or swelling, if any. It is very important to not be in the sun or have any sweating from exercise for the first 10 days after each appointment. All lotions, creams, and make up should also be avoided on your new eyebrows during healing. Results vary from person to person and may require additional sessions, beyond the initial appointment and 8+week touch-up, to achieve desired results.
If you have a regular grooming routine with your eyebrows,(i.e. threaded, waxed, tinted, etc.), it is best to have this done 3–4 days before your appointment. All of these are completely optional and do not affect the services, if done within the aforementioned time frame.
Please alert us if you are taking any blood thinners. Blood thinners include, but are not limited to: prescription or over the counter painkillers including Ibuprofen and Aspirin, caffeine, alcohol, fish oil and Vitamin E. Please do not drink alcohol or caffeine 24 hours prior to your appointment. Feel free to take Tylenol before your appointment as it does not thin the blood. It’s recommend to take a non-drowsy Benadryl or other non-blood thinning antihistamine. This service can cause small vibrations near your sinus cavity and can cause sneezing, watery eyes and a runny nose.
